In order to be the central database for leopard intelligence, we need your help! We are collecting data in one format to be stored in one location.
If you would like to assist in collecting data by identifying the Leopards you see, you can start your own Leopard ID Project Workbook on Microsoft Excel or email us and we will send you one.

After every leopard sighting and photo, fill in as many answers as you can and save your workbook to your desktop. At the end of each month, send us your updates to Info@LeopardIDProject.com
It’s all the information we need for the project.
We’ve had an amazing response from the public in Kruger, therefore it’s time to move on to the whole of Southern Africa and all our reserves.
The aim is to collate all data in one format and in one location for the whole of southern Africa.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Rename each image with the date, location and the leopard's name (Alias), if known, so it will correspond to the workbook.
- Start a new workbook each month
We look forward to receiving all your photos with corresponding information each month!
